A Brief Comment...
Keith defies logical gravity as you witness his performance challenge each and every theory Einstein laid down. He blends each note in sync with each riff as every muscle in his body (and I mean every) harmonizes with the ease of a conductor orchestrating the most beautiful rhythm and blues ballet. The passion he presents with each song equals only that of the love of his lady and the illustrious game of chess. Keith is a true musical villain of the American spirit. An explorer of the human psyche seeking truth in the depths of his own music and the music of those he admires. Dylan, Lennon, and Robert Johnson are a few names that he stalks with the determination of no other and one feels their influence graze the surface of each Dover original. But that is where their influence ends and Keith's music begins. There is no particular genre of music that consistently resonates in Keith's work. Each song reveals a unique flavor of the song he sings. Keith once answered someone by saying, "I'm just a guy with a guitar that I gotta play. It doesn't matter where or for who, I simply have to play it." To say he is a story teller feels trite - the dude is a master when it comes to taking you for a ride and showing you the scenery of his mind. His vocal range reaches the deepest baritone rising to the most spectacular falsetto. It's moments like these that unsuspecting heads begin to turn, conversations cease. Regardless of whether it's 300 people or 3.
